Tangible Cultural Heritage In Land Access & Resettlement (EN)

Many land access programs have to manage the displacement of tangible cultural heritage resources, such as graves or cemeteries, shrines, sacred natural features and religious structures. These displacement impacts are often highly sensitive and emotive, and can be challenging to manage successfully. In this short Briefing Note, SRA identifies a number of key considerations that project proponents should keep in mind whenever they encounter tangible cultural heritage resources, together with some key steps to follow in the assessment and management process.
