Salohy Rakotomanana

Salohy is a corporate social responsibility and stakeholder engagement specialist, with extensive experience in social performance, land access and resettlement.

He worked in internationally funded rural and community development programs before transitioning to the extractive industry. He began in field coordination, before moving into leadership roles in social performance and community health and safety, including emergency preparedness and impact mitigation. He has led a wide range of stakeholder engagement and social compliance activities, including those related to land acquisition and resettlement. He has played key roles in developing strategies for community relations and social risk management at Madagascar’s largest mining company, aligned with IFC Performance Standards.

Salohy has a background in agronomic science and farming development, and is fluent both in French and English.
