Olivier is a social performance specialist with 13 years of experience in social impact assessment, resettlement, compensation, livelihood restoration, and community development in support of complex energy, mining and infrastructure projects. He works in line with the IFC Performance Standards and AfDB Operational Safeguards, and has extensive field experience across francophone Africa, including Madagascar, Guinea, DRC, Senegal and Ivory Coast.
Previously, Olivier spent 5 years in civil engineering and construction project management. This combined background makes him an effective leader, skilled in managing tight timelines, complex budgets, and interdisciplinary teams. He is adaptable, culturally sensitive, and experienced in challenging environments.
A native French speaker, Olivier is fluent in English and has working proficiency in Spanish.
