Justin is a Director of Steyn Reddy Associates (SRA). He has extensive experience in land access & resettlement, livelihood restoration and community development, and brings a wealth of experience working in interdisciplinary and international teams.
Justin attended Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, where he graduated with a master’s in public policy. He specialized in business and government relations, with extensive training in corporate social responsibility and human rights, under the tutelage of John Ruggie and Jane Nelson.
In all projects, Justin combines his strong research background with extensive field experience, enabling him to offer practical and tailored solutions rooted in local contexts. He has experience managing, planning, implementing, and reviewing projects in over 17 countries and across a range of sectors, including mining, energy, infrastructure, and conservation. In recent years, Justin has led a major resettlement project from initial assessment and planning to implementation in Mexico, in addition to numerous other projects throughout Latin America.
Justin has in-depth knowledge of the policies and standards of international institutions and has developed guidance documents and training materials for a wide range of audiences. He is bilingual in English and Spanish, and has a Bachelor of Arts degree (Joint Honours- Political Science and International Development) from McGill University and a Masters of Public Policy degree from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government (Dissertation Title: Corporate Social Responsibility in the Canadian Extractive Sector: The Role of the Canadian Government).
