John Leeah

John Leeah is an early-career social performance professional with experience in social impact management and community investment. He has conducted research in the mining and agroforestry sectors, and collaborated with a wide range of stakeholders at the national and international levels. He is familiar with relevant IFC performance standards, has a command of data management and analysis, and is passionate about stakeholder engagement and relationship building.

He holds a Master of Arts in geography and sustainability studies from Boston University. His master’s thesis analyzed mining company financial data and attributes to measure global corporate social investment trends. Before his academic career he was a member of the United States Coast Guard. He is a native English speaker with professional proficiency in Spanish.
