Ian has 16 years of international experience in social performance, land acquisition and resettlement in the mining and energy sectors. He has a particular expertise in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, human rights risk assessment, and community investment. Ian has worked extensively across Southern Africa, and is intimately familiar with relevant international standards and best practices.
Ian has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of South Africa, and is based in Toronto, Canada.
