Andrea Gutierrez is an experienced social sustainability consultant based in Mexico City. With a decade of experience, she specializes in undertaking social risk and impact assessments, coordinating land acquisition and resettlement processes, and crafting social sustainability strategies, management systems and plans rooted in international best practice. Her expertise spans diverse sectors, including Mining, Energy, Oil & Gas, Agroindustry, Infrastructure, and Construction.
Andrea’s extensive fieldwork in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala reflects her commitment to a participatory approach, in which she emphasizes co-design and community involvement throughout.
Andrea is fluent in English and Spanish. She holds a degree in Cultural Anthropology from the National School of Anthropology and History (ENAH) in Mexico.
