Aldo González

Aldo González boasts a decade of professional experience in Sustainable Development.  He has worked extensively in the fields of land access, livelihood restoration, stakeholder engagement, community relations and development, and corporate social responsibility.

In 2023, Aldo spearheaded a community development program for a large-scale mine in Mexico, focusing on food security for neighbouring communities and assisting in livelihood restoration for those resettled. From 2017 to 2022, he led the community relations team at another significant mine site in the country.

Aldo holds an MSc in Community Sustainability from Michigan State University, and speaks fluent Spanish and English. He has spoken at sustainability conferences in the USA, Japan, Mexico and Spain, and has a strong technical background in agriculture and ranching.
