Katharine Prud’homme is a seasoned social performance practitioner with over two decades of experience addressing resettlement, land access, and artisanal mining challenges in high-risk environments across Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. She brings deep expertise in stakeholder engagement, livelihood development, and community relations, with a track record of building cross-sector partnerships and delivering results in complex settings.

Katharine has worked extensively with governments, industry, and international donors to design and implement social performance strategies tailored to local contexts. She led the development of a $20B social investment plan for TotalEnergies’ LNG project in Mozambique, helped negotiate FPIC processes in Ecuador, and has supported the integration of artisanal mining into responsible supply chains across West Africa and Latin America. Her experience includes resettlement and livelihood projects for over 50,000 displaced persons in the Sahel and major donor-funded economic growth programs in post-conflict and insecure regions.

She holds an M.A. in Modern Middle Eastern History from the University of California, Los Angeles and a B.A. in International Relations from UC Santa Barbara, and is fluent in French and Spanish.
