Daniel is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience as a senior consultant and project manager working in the areas of Social Responsibility, Social and Environmental Sustainability, ESG, Human Rights, Social and Environmental Risk and Impact Analysis, Stakeholder Engagement, Community Relations, Indigenous Peoples, and Traditional Communities, and Cultural Heritage, based on the requirements and best practices of International Financial Institutions (International Finance Corporation – IFC, IDB INVEST, and the Equator Principles).
He has expertise in Land Acquisition and Involuntary Resettlement projects, developing Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs), Livelihood Restoration Plans (LRSPs), and Property Regularization. He provides services to major global players with investments in Brazil across various market segments, such as mining, oil and gas, energy transition, pulp and paper, and infrastructure. He also works as a socio-environmental auditor specializing in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Audits and Due Diligence and Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS).
