Celia Ruiz Miralles

Celia is a social and resettlement specialist with experience in the transportation, energy and mining sectors. Her work has included the preparation and implementation of resettlement action plans, the delivery of ESIAs and stakeholder engagement plans, and the analysis of social conflicts, all in line with international standards.
Celia has led several Human Rights Impact Assessments and due diligence processes. She has worked in a variety of regions around the world, including West Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America and Europe.
In addition to her native Spanish, Celia speaks fluent French and English, as well as Arabic and German. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Arabic from Leeds University in the UK, and a Masters’ degree in Geopolitics and Strategic Studies from the Universidad Carlos III Madrid in Spain.
