Célio is an experienced land access and resettlement practitioner, having worked on a variety of projects for the last 12 years, including major oil & gas projects in Mozambique and Tanzania.

He holds a Master’s in Sustainable Development from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) as part of The Global Association Master’s in Development Practice Program (MDP), and a degree from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences – Eduardo Mondlane University (Mozambique). Célio is fluent in Portuguese, English and Emakuwa.

Clara is a Social Performance specialist with extensive experience in land access and resettlement, project management, social impact management, and stakeholder engagement.

Clara has worked in a number of sectors, including extractives, transport, public and industrial infrastructure, and energy, across a range of different geographies. This has included management of land access and resettlement processes, social impact assessments, baseline assessments, human rights assessments, and the development of social management plans, particularly in the Middle East, West Africa, and Southern Africa.

Clara speaks native Spanish and is fluent in English and French.

José is a resettlement and social specialist, architect and urban planner, with experience in the planning, design, and implementation of resettlement projects, including project management, community consultation and negotiations, stakeholder engagement strategies, design of compensation frameworks, and development and implementation of strategies for risk management and impact mitigation.

Jose has worked in socially complex contexts in countries such as Libya, Panama, Nicaragua, Colombia, and Mexico. He has led resettlement processes in Colombia and Mexico from planning to implementation. As an architect, he led the design and planning of two indigenous communities during the pre-construction phase of a mine under the principles of FPI consultation.

Manuela is a social, resettlement and communications specialist with an International Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Driven by analysing and solving complex social issues in international settings, Manuela provides clients with up-to-date social performance solutions, with a particular focus on participatory stakeholder engagement practice, and addressing social and gender-related risks. Manuela has successfully applied her expertise to the planning and preparation of land access and resettlement projects.

Manuela has worked in a number of sectors, including the energy, public infrastructure and renewable energy sectors in a number of countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East as well as North, Central and South America.

She speaks native French, and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Calla is an experienced social performance practitioner specializing in involuntary resettlement and livelihood restoration. She has a demonstrated commitment to advancing the application of international best practices in the identification and sustainable management of Environmental and Social (E&S) risks, particularly in relation to the displacement of communities, for resource, infrastructure and other projects.

Calla provides clients with best practice locally appropriate social performance solutions. She has worked for a wide variety of clients in multiple countries in a number of different capacities. Calla is fluent in English and French.

For the last 20 years he has specialised in managing resettlement and livelihood restoration programs to meet the standards of international financiers with particular involvement in implementation of resettlement programs.
